Risk disclosure
Limits you should know up front
This page states plainly what the platform does not guarantee, so nobody misreads its role.
The credit report has limits
All input data is supplied by the borrower and has not been verified against any independent source. The report reflects how complete and consistent the file is, not a probability of repayment.
- It does not include data from the National Credit Information Centre (CIC)
- It is not a lending recommendation
- It does not replace the lender's own due diligence
The platform vouches for no one
An approved account does not mean we guarantee that party's capability, good faith or legal standing. Each side remains responsible for checking the other before transacting.
Residual risk of anonymisation
The loan amount is shown exactly, because it is the main signal lenders decide on. Combined with province and posting date, someone who already knows their own customer may still infer identity. This is an inherent limit of the model.
